On July 3rd, 4th and 5th Lexington Sunrise Rotary is hosting a hot air ballon rally at the VMI parade ground–walking distance from the Abigail Inn. Come celebrate July 4th at the Abigail Inn and attend a hot air ballon rally at the VMI parade ground (rides are available).

Rockbridge regional fair July 17-22 at the Virginia horse center rides, exhibits, horse show, art show, games and more.

The Lexington Rotary, Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees, and Lexington Kiwanis Clubs jointly organize and conduct the Rockbridge Community Festival on the last Saturday of August each year. Join the festivities! Check out what’s in store!

Scott and Karen Ewen, our new Innkeepers, come from Evanston, Illinois. They have 2 sons one of which was a 2012 graduate of VMI. Karen is a gourmet chef and had a catering business in Illinois. Scott is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic. They would love to have you visit the Inn.

Abigail Inn continues to partner with SowHope whenever possible and urges its visitors to learn of their work. The President of SowHope expects to make another visit to Abigail Inn this spring; but the date is not yet confirmed.
